How to improve handling on the street? Would putting smaller tires on my lifted Jeep change street driving?

I have a 93 Jeep cherokee XJ with a 6.5 suspension lift and currently running 35″ tires, and i want to drive it from WA to AZ and was wondering how much of a difference smaller tires like 30″ or 31″ would make in the street performance? As it is its kind of a pain to drive on the highway, any tips? Thanks

What all neds done to install a 3″ lift kit on a jeep grand cherokee?

I know with the bigger lifts theres some stuff that you need to moidfy but i don’t want to go through all that I’m thinking of buying a 3″ body lift for my 97 Jeep grand Cherokee and before i do i make to make sure the lift is small enough that i won’t need anything like a transfer case drop or new drive line does anyone know
